THE EXPERIENCE
Before the event
We begin with a complimentary consultation to discuss your vision, the moment you would like captured, canvas size, medium, venue, and any meaningful details you would like incorporated.
Arrival & setup
I typically arrive 2–3 hours before guests arrive to set up my painting station, photograph the venue and important details, plan the composition, and begin developing the background and major elements of the painting.
Exact arrival time depends on the event schedule and painting requirements.
During the celebration
As the event unfolds, I continue developing the painting while capturing reference photographs of the couple, family, guests, and key moments.
Guests are welcome to stop by, watch the painting develop, and see their celebration being transformed into artwork.
I coordinate with the event team and photographer/videographer to make sure the painting process fits naturally into the flow of the celebration.
After the event
The painting is substantially developed during the event, with final details and refinements completed in the studio afterward.
The finished original can then be delivered or shipped according to the arrangements made during booking.

Will the painting be completely finished during the event?
The painting will be substantially developed during the event, but final details and refinements may be completed afterward in the studio.
How early do you arrive?

Can guests watch me paint?

Do you need to see the moment you’re painting the entire time?
No. I use photographs taken throughout the event as references, allowing me to continue painting while still capturing important moments accurately.
Can the painting be done outdoors?
Yes, provided the painting station is protected from direct sun, rain, and strong wind. A covered or indoor backup location may be required.
Who chooses what moment is painted?
You do. We discuss your preferred moment during the consultation and plan the composition together before the event.
When will I receive the finished painting?
The final completion and delivery timeline will be discussed during booking based on the size, medium, complexity, and event schedule.
What canvas sizes do you offer, and how much do they cost?
Canvas sizes range from 18 × 24 in. (starting at $1,800) to 30 × 30 in. (starting at $2,600). Larger and custom sizes are available by quote. Final pricing depends on canvas size, medium, location and travel, event duration, number of people, composition complexity, level of detail, and framing or delivery requirements.
Do you paint in oil or acrylic?
I offer both oil and acrylic, depending on your preferred look, event timeline, and painting requirements. Soft pastel on paper is also available and requires special handling and protective framing to prevent smudging.
Is framing included?
Framing is not included in the starting prices but can be arranged separately.
What affects the final price?
Pricing depends on canvas size, medium, event location and travel, duration, number of people, composition complexity, level of detail, and framing or delivery requirements.
What do I need to provide for the painting setup?
I bring my painting supplies and additional lighting as needed. The host or venue provides a stable table or painting surface at least 4 feet wide, two comfortable chairs, and a well-lit area with enough room for guests to observe. For outdoor events, the painting station must be protected from direct sun, rain, and strong wind. An indoor or covered backup location may be required depending on weather conditions.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes. I carry basic liability insurance.
