They don’t need to sit for a traditional portrait or remain at the illustration station.

Using the reference photo, I create a personalized illustration while your guests continue enjoying the event.

Guests are welcome to stop by and watch their artwork come to life or simply return later when it’s ready.

My guest illustrations are intentionally stylized rather than traditional portraits.

I focus on the details that make each person recognizable and expressive, their:

Approximately 8–10 minutes per person

A balance of speed, personality, fashion, and distinctive details.

This is my recommended style for most weddings and private events.

FASHION ILLUSTRATION

Approximately 12–15 minutes per person

A more detailed, fashion-inspired approach with greater attention to clothing, accessories, styling, and composition.

Best for:

  • Smaller events
  • More intimate celebrations
  • Clients who want additional detail

Drawing times are approximate. Actual capacity varies depending on event flow, group size, poses, and level of detail.

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I ILLUSTRATE?

For the Signature Illustration, I typically accommodate approximately 5–6 individual guests per hour, including transitions and event flow.

Approximate capacity:

3 hours: 15–18 guests
5 hours: 25–30 guests
6 hours: 30–36 guests

These are estimates rather than guarantees. Actual capacity depends on guest flow, group size, illustration style, and event conditions.

Up to 3 people can be included in one illustration, but each person counts toward the overall guest capacity.

WEDDINGS & PREMIUM EVENTS

5 hours — $1,500

Additional hours: $300/hour

Wedding bookings also include a custom 8 × 10 inch illustration of the newlyweds, created in a more detailed and refined style.

PRE-EVENT & POST-EVENT GUEST PORTRAITS

Looking for something more detailed than live guest illustrations?

I also offer personalized guest portraits created from photographs before or after your event.

These portraits feature more defined facial features and greater detail and can be used for:

  • Place cards

  • Wedding stationery

  • Welcome cards

  • Guest favors

  • Thank-you cards

  • Personalized keepsakes

Pre-event and post-event portraits are quoted separately based on quantity, style, and turnaround time.

For larger pre-event portrait orders, I recommend booking at least 3 months in advance.

Do guests have to sit for their illustration?

No. Guests simply stop by for a quick photo and can return to the celebration while I work.

Can guests watch me draw?

Absolutely. Guests are welcome to watch the illustration being created.

How many people can be in one illustration?

Up to 3 people can be included in one illustration. Each person counts toward the overall guest capacity.

Can the illustrations match my wedding colors or theme?

Yes. With advance planning, I can incorporate your wedding colors, theme, names, date, logo, or simple motifs into the paper design.

How many guests can you illustrate?

For Signature Illustration, approximately 5–6 individual guests per hour is a typical capacity. Actual capacity depends on guest flow, group size, style, and event conditions.

Will every illustration be finished during the event?

Most illustrations are completed during the event or by the end of the booking. If needed, remaining agreed-upon portraits can be completed afterward and mailed to you.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking several months in advance, particularly for weddings and peak event dates.

Is the retainer refundable?

The event retainer is non-refundable and is required to secure your date.

Is a consultation included?

Yes. Every booking includes a complimentary one-hour consultation to discuss your event, style, timeline, and customization.

What do I need to provide for the setup?

I bring my lighting and art supplies. The host or venue provides a table at least 4 feet wide, two comfortable chairs, and a well-lit, shaded area with enough space for guests to approach, have their photos taken, and observe the artwork without blocking event traffic. A nearby electrical outlet if needed.  For outdoor events, the station should be protected from direct sun, rain, and strong wind.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes. I carry basic liability insurance.
